This large, healthy Elm welcomes people to historic downtown. It was dedicated as a Landmark Tree, Arbor Day, 2015, offering a fine example of the vase-shape crown associated with the species. The city treats it for Dutch Elm Disease. The smaller tree next to it is a Slippery Elm, which is less susceptible to the disease.
